Monica & Kyrillos got married at St. Mina & St. Abanoub Coptic Orthodox Church in Miamisburg, Ohio. “What’s a Coptic Church?” you ask? Great question! The Copts are the original Egyptians, and the word “Copt” itself is derived from the Greek word “Aegyptus” which means Egypt. While Muslim’s make about 90% of Egypt’s population, where the Copts are the remaining 10%.
A Coptic wedding ceremony lasts about 45 minutes and as in many other Christian ceremonies, there are prayers and readings from the Bible. During the ceremony, the couple wears crowns and special capes. Before putting them on the crowns are blessed. The crowning has been part of the Coptic century since the 4th century. The crowns and capes represent the bride and groom becoming the “newly adorned leaders of their household.”

The church, originally finished in 1850, underwent a major reconstruction in the early 90’s and is one of Cincinnati’s and is undoubtedly one of the city’s most spectacular wedding venues!
Tyler & Ryan were the first couple that we had the pleasure of working with that got married at The Marmalade Lily in Loveland, Ohio. This adorable flower farm not only hosts the most magical outdoor weddings, but special events and flower cutting workshops! Brooke & Matt chose a destination wedding in Colorado. Texas in July is just a tiny bit too warm for a summer wedding. Brook’s family has a long history of vacationing and growing up in the Rocky Mountains, so Vail was the perfect location for their friends and family to gather for the couple’s union!

Keeping with the modern and classic style of their wedding, Paige & Shade had Lauren Duffy document their wedding. Believing in traditional practices over fleeting trends, Lauren was able to capture all of the love and emotion…and some sweet dance moves…that made up this couple’s special day!

Spring can be a very tricky time for Colorado weather. One day it will be sunny and 70 and the next may bring 18 inches of snow. Finding a venue that has a backup plan is key for any outdoor wedding and The Manor House was the perfect fit for Jared & Sable’s March wedding!With a lovely outdoor spot that sits at the bottom of the foothills, or a lovely indoor location in front of a fireplace, this classic venue has the best of both!

Once upon a time there was a lovely little venue in Estes Park, Colorado called Mary’s Lake Lodge. In fact, it was the first location in Estes Park that R & R booked after moving to Denver.
Adrianna & Ben had originally booked the resort for their 2018 wedding, but unfortunately, the venue caught on fire and the couple was forced to find a new date and location. Knowing that she wanted a “winter wonderland” wedding, Adrianna found Beaver Creek to be the ideal new location! It couldn’t have been a more perfect, snowy backdrop for Ben & Adrianna’s winter wedding.
