Tyler & Ryan were the first couple that we had the pleasure of working with that got married at The Marmalade Lily in Loveland, Ohio. This adorable flower farm not only hosts the most magical outdoor weddings, but special events and flower cutting workshops! You can see by the photos from Tyler & Ryan’s wedding there last August what a delightful little location this is!
Have you ever noticed how many couples have similar names? Names that start with the same first letter, that rhyme or are just simply the masculine/feminine version of their partner? There’s actual science behind this called “The Name Letter Effect” and was discovered in 1985 by a Belgian psychologist. Here’s a link if you’re interested: https://www.psychologistworld.com/emotion/name-letter-effect-attraction
Whether Nicole an Nicholas had a subconscious attraction due to their similar names or not, we are happy they found each other and were even happier that they let us be a part of their love story!
Brooke & Matt chose a destination wedding in Colorado. Texas in July is just a tiny bit too warm for a summer wedding. Brook’s family has a long history of vacationing and growing up in the Rocky Mountains, so Vail was the perfect location for their friends and family to gather for the couple’s union!
Choosing to have an outdoor wedding really sets the tone for the day and event. Whether a couple goes with an intimate, backyard ceremony or a venue as lovely and time- honored as the Krippendorf Lodge at The Cincinnati Nature Center, they are guaranteed to have a glorious back drop, thanks to Mother Nature!
Beverly & Martin’s wedding was nothing short of stunning locations for the ceremony, reception and photos. Eleven 11 Photography not only did a beautiful job of capturing so many sweet, emotional moments of this wedding, but they showed off the grandeur of this beautiful venue. Christy & Josh, owners of Eleven 11 Photography for the past 7 years, have been a couple for over 11! Their work work shows their professional and personal history and we were so excited to be able to share this wedding with our readers!
Spring can be a very tricky time for Colorado weather. One day it will be sunny and 70 and the next may bring 18 inches of snow. Finding a venue that has a backup plan is key for any outdoor wedding and The Manor House was the perfect fit for Jared & Sable’s March wedding! With a lovely outdoor spot that sits at the bottom of the foothills, or a lovely indoor location in front of a fireplace, this classic venue has the best of both!
The talented, multi-faceted Jenna, from Jenna Noelle photography couldn’t have done a more divine job of capturing the big moments and the small ones in between!
Once upon a time there was a lovely little venue in Estes Park, Colorado called Mary’s Lake Lodge. In fact, it was the first location in Estes Park that R & R booked after moving to Denver.
Adrianna & Ben had originally booked the resort for their 2018 wedding, but unfortunately, the venue caught on fire and the couple was forced to find a new date and location. Knowing that she wanted a “winter wonderland” wedding, Adrianna found Beaver Creek to be the ideal new location! It couldn’t have been a more perfect, snowy backdrop for Ben & Adrianna’s winter wedding.
Sidenote: Mary’s Lake Lodge has reopened as The Peaks at Mary’s Lakeand if you’re looking for a year round venue or vacation with amazing views and accommodations, we think you should click the link above!
Sarah’s wedding over Labor Day last year was nothing short of personality! Staying true to who they are as a couple and creating unforgettable moments shone through throughout their day! The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park couldn’t have been the more perfect for this Colorado country wedding! Sarah called on us to do hair for her bridal party and herself and we love how her style was country, romantic and modern simultaneously!
Stormi & Matt reached out to Rollers & Rouge about a week and a half before their December ceremony looking for a wedding hairstylist. Stormi, a former Tennessee Titans cheerleader, and her (now) husband were flying in with a small group of friends and family from Nashville to get married in Silverthorne, Colorado. Unfortunately, one of their friends, also a hairstylist was unable to make the trip last minute. We were really excited to be able to be part of this one of a kind wedding!
Colorado is an amazing, beautiful state! We have desert, mountains, waterfalls and all 4 seasons. Sometimes, we have all 4 seasons in one day…like Amellia’s wedding day! There were beautiful sunny moments, there was a little rain, some fog and even snow! Amellia’s amazing positive energy wasn’t phased and she and Andrew had the most spectacular day!
Stephanie’s wedding day was full of sunshine, love and…motorcycles! That’s right! For several years now, bikers have been riding up to Mother Cabrini Shrine for an annual blessing! As we were doing hair and makeup, the sound of riders on the bikes were coming and going! Luckily, the event slowed down and by the time Stephanie was ready to walk down the aisle, the only noise in the background was wedding bells!
