We are fortunate enough to work with out of town brides quite frequently! Colorado is beautiful and although it’s not your typical beach destination location, the mountains draw so many couples here for a more rustic destination vibe. Jordan and her husband chose to leave their (warm) home state of Arizona for a winter wedding in Sedalia, Co.
Often times venues don’t allow bridal parties to arrive early enough for hair and makeup so getting ready at a nearby hotel is usually the best option. Jordan and her bridal party did hair and makeup at The Best Western Plus in Castle Rock and finished getting dressed at her venue, The Sanctuary Golf Course, where the bridesmaids and groomsmen had a little fun…yeah, groomsmen in thongs!
The outdoor pavilion overlooking the golf, armed with heaters, kept guests warm as Jordan and Tyler said their vows during sunset. The bride was preceded by the cutest little flower girls and ring bearers. Keeping their love of the outdoors as a theme throughout the wedding, the rings were brought in on antler and the bride and groom chose to forego the traditional sand ceremony for branding!
Taking advantage of the early winter sunset, the bride and groom chose to do their photos after the ceremony. Their photographer, Tyler, of Tyler Freear Photography did a beautiful job capturing the newlyweds in their first moments as husband and wife while the bridal party had a little fun with their photos!
Personal touches are what make each wedding and unique and Jordan and Tyler certainly made sure their wedding felt like “them”. This wedding guest globe is the cutest guest book idea we’ve seen!
And then…it was time to DANCE!
