Maggie and her fiance’ are both Colorado natives! Having grown up in Littleton, Maggie decided to get married at her parent’s home, which happened to be relatively close to her venue, The Falls. Annie, her best friends and cousins took over her parents living room as we set up for hair and makeup! Having chosen a color palette in a light, icy blue, which was perfect for her winter wedding, we kept the makeup neutral and the hair soft.
Maggie’s photographer, E.J. of EJ Dilley Photography was able to capture a special moment between 3 generations of marriage with Maggie, her mother and grandmother.
Coloradans boast that we have 300 days of sunshine (in the metro area). This provides a really great opportunity for couple’s wanting a winter wedding. It can certainly be unpredictable and who knows when an unexpected snow may happen! But for the most part, and just like Maggie’s wedding day, it’s mostly sunny, keeping the temperature bearable for an outdoor, daytime wedding.
