Planning a wedding isn’t easy. DUH. Finding vendors that are within your budget, that see your vision, that you vibe with… and that actually have your date available is just a stressful, small part of it, right? Sometimes a bit of luck happens and you have amazingly talented friends that help everything to fall into place. Mercedes had a vision and knew the perfect person to tell her story. Her friend and photographer, Rae of Raelynn Raemy Photography hit the road and made the 700 mile journey from Des Moines, IA to Evergreen, Co to capture this lovely wedding last summer.
Let’s start with these getting ready shots! It’s not often that photographers arrive early enough to capture these moments, so we get pretty stoked when we get to see these “behind the scenes” action shots. Plus, this Airbnb in Morrison, CO was UNREAL!
The view was incredible and these windows are a makeup artist’s dream!
There are so many special moments that happen before the “real magic” begins. The love and happiness that is in the air as you spend the morning with your best friends in family is contagious. Experiencing this is one of the best parts of our job. The quiet moments are as magical as the moment that you put your dress on and having your photographer there to capture these memories can be so important. The morning flies by and although you may try to remember it all, it’s impossible.
From the first look to their very last dance, Mercedes and Jacob’s wedding was as true to them and their relationship as a wedding could be…surrounded by family, friends and music and laughter.
