Hellooooo, Rollers and Rouge! Thanks, Natalie- my high school band geek buddy (“I promise it was cool at our school!” No, really.)- for allowing me to guest post!
A mere two and a half years ago, I had the wedding of my dreams- outside, in my childhood backyard, a slight chill in the air, at sunset. It was great. What wasn’t always great was the months leading up to it, can I get an amen? Planning, reserving, ordering, fitting, meal plans, workout plans, showers, decisions! I wouldn’t take any of it back, mind you, but wow was it tunnel vision in a thousand different directions in those days! My main focus was on getting more shapely- through wise eating and a boot camp, and keeping my sanity- through continuing my regular yoga practice.
What I didn’t pay as much attention to was what was going on my body! I had a makeup trial run and ordered a crapton of new, expensive, AWESOME stuff. But what I didn’t realize then was that I needed to be focusing as much on my beauty regime as my physical one. I still workout 4-6 days a week, I still try to eat well, and now I prioritize the ingredients going on my face and body.
My newest obsession is the line at Beautycounter. It’s proven safe by Mia Davis and made effective by Christy Coleman. I love their Essentials line for my daily face care. Add in a Lustro Oil with the moisturizer and I promise your life will be changed. What I love about this line is that it’s the best out there- not only is it toxin-free and safe for you (check out their “Never List” of ingredients they promise to, well, never use), but it also makes your skin feel amazing. And don’t get me started on their cosmetics line. Because it’s a new company, new products are rolling out by the month! Their newest valentine-worthy product, Scarlet Lip Sheer, is somehow “the perfect red” for truly everyone that puts it on! And if you don’t agree, they have a fantastic 30 and 60 day return policy!
Start taking care of yourself now, with a product that looks great and takes care of you!
